Opportunity does not knock, it presents itself when you beat
down the door.” –Kyle Chandler

Opportuntiy is Everywhere
Opportunity is everywhere but a lot of people don’t realize its
right in front of them or like I used to be, afraid of new things or the
unknown. When I graduated high school I moved out and life hit me quick, I learned
that in this day in age you have to take every opportunity that comes and also
to go find opportunity yourself. I was always hesitant on new things because I was
afraid to fail but I learned from some class readings that failure brings
success. We have also covered a lot about
work and economy in class; I believe opportunity works hand-in-hand with those.
I have noticed that if you sit back and watch instead of getting out there and
making a name for yourself or whatever it might be. For a college student this
is the best lesson you could use, every semester we basically compete to get
classes and in college opportunity is everywhere around campus. All we have to
do is have a competitive mind set.

An excellent point, opportunity is everywhere however fear has that unfortunate ability to hinder our own success. One last thing, good work on relating this to your own experience.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on your post opportunity is everywhere, we just don't take a shot at it even though its right in front of us because we are afraid we are going to fail. but then again when we fail we just have to keep on trying and trying till we reach the goal we want to be at.
ReplyDeleteGreat points! I like how you talked about yourself in the beginning, I think that makes other readers relate more. All good observations and lessons about work, opportunity, fear, failure and success. Well said & nice quote at the end. //lm
